2 Installing Software and

Initial Setup

This section provides information about using QLflash, updating the multi-boot

code, and using Fast!UTIL and FCode for custom configuration.

Fibre Channel Adapter SuperInstaller Installation

The SuperInstaller is an easy-to-use utility that installs such components as the

following:

 Fibre Channel, Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), iSCSI, and Ethernet

networking drivers

 QConvergeConsole command line interface management tool

 Fibre Channel, FCoE, iSCSI, and networking management agents to enable

remote access using the QConvergeConsole (GUI) management tool
